At OM Design Studio, your permanent eyeliner artist will take a custom approach to create the style and look you prefer. Our skilled technicians have experience with a wide range of permanent tattoo eyeliner styles, opening the door to a beautiful variety of options to choose from.

Your eyeliners will be designed based on your eye shape and the style you are wanting. Detailed measurements are taken and eyeliners are penciled on for your approval before starting the tattoo procedure. Your eyeliner can be completely reshaped to perfectly fit your desired look and style. We offer several looks from lash enhancement, the class look with or without wings and the smokey eyeshadow look. 

Our colors are custom blended, non-toxic, and vegan. They are made from natural mineral-based pigments. Color is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. Seven days later, it loses 30-50% of its intensity. Patiently wait 7 days for the color to fade on its own after the healing of the skin. Color duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the color lasts. Being on certain medication also has an effect on how the pigment heals. Sweating and sun exposure also reduces color fastness. 

The pigment is applied into the surface epidermis layer of the skin using sterilized tools. Pigment is selected with the client. After the healing period, color may become several hues lighter than the color implanted. Touchup is required after initial session.

Touchup is done 6-8 weeks after your 1st session because 30-50% of the pigment fade after the 1st session. You’ll return for a touch-up appointment to review the color with your technician and make adjustments if needed to ensure that you have the look that you want to achieve.

Healing is fully completed after 4-6 weeks and so we recommend to come in for touchup between 6-8 weeks to perform an obligatory addition of the pigment that has been lost. With problematic and oily skin types, you will need an additional touchup.

OM Studio provides clients with an extensive selection of permanent eyeliners options, including the ability to combine top and bottom liner. If you aren’t sure which look or technique is right for you, we are happy to answer your questions during a consultation appointment. 

If you’ve ever wished you could enjoy the convenience and style of perfect eyeliner all the time, permanent eyeliner might be for you. Even if you tend to rock an ultra-natural makeup look, PMU eyeliner can be customized to add a subtle touch to your everyday style. For clients that enjoy expressing their style with dramatic eye makeup looks, the PMU procedure can also be tailored to match.

All PMU colors at OM Studio are custom-blended to flawlessly match the look you want. If you have a specific shade in mind, feel free to bring in an eyeliner pencil or powder (or a photo) as an example.

The permanent eyeliner process takes between two to three hours on average, depending on your selected style.

Your PMU artist will use a gentle numbing cream to make sure that you’re comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Many of our clients report that the experience involves much less discomfort than they initially expected.

Preparing for the permanent eyeliner procedure is similar to the prep process for other types of PMU. Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, and alcohol for a full 24 hours prior, and Retin-A/AHA products, waxing, laser, and electrolysis for about a week beforehand.

If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, we do not recommend permanent eyeliner. 

About 6-12 weeks after your first appointment, we can schedule a touchup to complete the look and finalize the color and shape. Once that step is complete, you can expect your PMU to last between three to five years (depending on a few different factors). Most of our clients schedule color touchups within three years to keep their permanent eyeliner looking fresh and fade-free.

  • Liver disease – high risk of infection

  • Compromised skin near treatment area

  • Keloid scarring (microblading patients)

  • Skin conditions like psoriasis, dermatitis etc. near the treatment area

  • Pregnancy/Nursing

  • Chemotherapy/Radiation

  • If you have or ever had hypersensitive eyes, watery eyes, tear duct plugs, severe allergies,

    refractive eye surgery, glaucoma, pressure in your eyes due to high blood pressure.

The Following medical conditions require a note from your doctor giving consent:

Diabetes Type 1 and Type 2, high blood pressure, auto-immune disease, thyroid/Grave’s disease Any other medical conditions that causes slow healing or high risk of infection.

Must be over 18 years of age to receive Permanent Cosmetic or Paramedical Micropigmentation procedures. Cannot have parental content.
