Lisa Om brings a wealth of experience and technique from her training with masters from all over the world. She is highly regarded in the industry by her students, peers, colleagues, and clients for her exceptional degree of professionalism. As one of the best in her profession, she wants to pass on the benefit of her experience to others in the industry. Her design academy allows you to learn the most masterful techniques using the most effective tools from one of the most talented artists in permanent makeup without leaving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Permanent makeup is also referred to as PMU or cosmetic tattoo. PMU aestheticians are artists who apply pigmented ink to the face’s skin to replicate the look normally achieved with makeup. Although it is permanent, it is designed to fade over time. PMU can be utilized for multiple effects, such as:
Permanent eyeliner gives clients the appearance of thicker lashes and more defined eyes without the daily time and effort of applying cosmetics. The academy client can choose from two techniques. One involves tattooing the liner just above the lash line for the more traditional liner look. The other places pigments between the lashes for a more natural and subtle effect.
The professional application is appropriate for those who never leave the house without eyeliner or who want the look of thicker lashes without wearing makeup. It is also ideal for those who are unable to wear makeup due to allergies or sensitivities. The effects should last for 3-5 years. However, it can depend on many factors, such as body chemistry, skin type, sun exposure, and age.
While older techniques were less than natural-looking, the newer lip blush techniques apply a more subtle wash of color to mimic the look of rosy, youthful lips. It enhances the client’s natural lip color. Since the lips are sensitive, the client will experience some swelling for about a week, as if they just had lip injections. After some touchups, the effect will last approximately a year.
Our students will master the techniques for permanent makeup in our OM permanent makeup training that will make use of the latest PMU machine while practicing in a real-world environment with live models. With the knowledge our students learn in our PMU training class, they will become an artist in advanced professional pigment application procedures. We will also teach experienced PMU artists new machine lip and eyeliner procedures to expand their skills and leverage current advances in the field. Our trainers will share their experience and expertise to allow you to increase your professional offerings.
While eyeliner may seem like a simple procedure, it requires training, artistry, and finesse. Considerations for eyeliner include anesthetics, pigment choice, needles, proper application methods, pigment dilution techniques, style, and design. Besides learning the proper methodologies, we’ll also teach you about some of the common pitfalls, mistakes, and oversights that can happen when learning to master permanent makeup application. Our basic 2-day class in Dallas ensures you will leave our training as a confident, skilled permanent makeup artist.
Applying permanent lip pigment requires understanding pigments, the transparent lip blush effect, the lipstick effect, machine techniques, and how to choose the right approach for a youthful blush. This 2-day course in Dallas will give you everything you need to become a lip blush artist.
The combined eyeliner and lips training in Dallas is three days. Upon completion, you can confidently expand your offerings to include permanent eyeliner and lip tint services to your clients. You will learn tips and tricks to help you master both services. Our students will leave the course with the technical skills to begin work immediately upon graduation.
Permanent Makeup is a type of tattooing that breaks the skin. That means we must follow special guidelines and stringent protocols that ensure safe, clean procedures for the client. Many states also have regulations for tattooing and permanent cosmetics, as well, so students will have to follow up with their state licensing offices to learn about compliance.
