Los Angeles is home to many celebrities and ordinary citizens who want to take advantage of one of the newest trends in the beauty industry-microblading. The process of shaping eyebrows and filling them in with thin, semi-permanent tattoo marks is growing in popularity because it makes eyebrows look thicker and fuller for up to three years. Microblading is an art form, however, so it takes extensive training to learn the skills and techniques you need to service Los Angeles residents with microblading. If you’re looking for microblading training in Los Angeles, the LISA OM Academy is the place to go. Studying the art form under the tutelage of master microblading artist Lisa Om will provide you with the skills and techniques you need to become a successful microblading technician.
There are many microblading techniques you need to study before even thinking about practicing on live models. Our microblading training starts with an online course so that you can learn at your own pace. Our microblading academy covers a wide range of important topics through various courses. Our comprehensive class structure near Woodland Hills covers topics such as those listed below.
Once you have basic microblading knowledge, it is time to test your craft with hands-on experience. Knowing how to apply manual strokes in theory and performing them on live models are two different things. You need to know how to apply strokes to various skin types and learn which microblading needles work best for various situations. While our online classes give you a strong foundation for a successful career as a microblading technician, our live model practice sessions offer an opportunity to gain real-world experience and start building a client portfolio before you earn your certificate of completion for training in Los Angeles.
We understand the importance of being able to practice drawing eyebrows on live models, so we offer small class sizes for every live course. This allows our instructors to give students one-on-one critiques and advice to help them improve their artistry. We teach the proper use of microblading tools and help you learn which needles are most appropriate for various situations.
Lisa Om is one of the top microblading artists in the world. Having studied under more than 20 masters from all over the globe, she has unique knowledge of various microblading techniques and is excited to share her passion with students. If you want to master the art of microblading, she is the person to learn it from.
Our comprehensive microblading training program includes a blend of online and hands-on instruction so that you are free to learn at your own pace. By participating in our live classes, you can have the chance to add your first clients to your portfolio before you ever start a successful business as a microblading technician. When you graduate from our program, you’ll earn a certificate of completion to show that you have mastered the art form and are ready to start a career as a microblading technician.
Our classes may be expensive, but they reflect the quality of the education you will receive. We don’t require our students to have prior experience in the industry to apply for our program, but we understand that you may have worked as a tattoo artist in the past and don’t need as much instruction as people with no experience. That’s why we allow you to customize your education by choosing which microblading courses to register for. If you know about semi-permanent makeup, you can skip some basic courses and just participate in the hands-on training to master your craft. With each live class, you’ll receive a free microblading kit so that you have all of the tools you need for success. This, combined with the ability to customize your schedule, makes the cost of the microblading training course at the OM Academy worth the price.
It takes a lot of skill to become a master microblading technician. Studying under Lisa Om is one of the best ways to cultivate all the skills you need to master the art form. Look up the many microblading classes we offer and get ready to practice your hair strokes and brow shapes under the watchful eye of a certified microblading instructor.
