For this New Years resolution, my boyfriend and I set a goal to be more organized. There’s no better way to start it off but with a perfect watch to keep you on schedule and in style. I’ve teamed up withJORD watchesto bring you classic pieces for the New Year and new adventures.
To start off the year right with my New Year’s resolution, I wanted the perfect timepiece. Like most people I’m very particular about my watches. I look for style and comfort that compliments my wardrobe. At first I wasn’t sure about wearing a wood watch. I thought it would overshadow my small wrist and be difficult to match my outfits. But surprisingly it’s light weight, very comfortable and looks great when dressing up or down. Everything about this watch is made to perfection. The details of the wooden watch to the packaging are beautiful. I’m a petite girl and my wrist measures at 15 cm, but because I was able adjust the band it fits perfectly. Also, this watch is universal, it’s listed under men’s watch category but looks just as great on women as it does men. It’s a perfect timepiece to start the year off. I’m very excited to announce that JORD is offering a giveaway to my followers which will close on January 14 at 11:59 p.m. click on the link to enter the giveaway https://woodwatches.com/g/simplylisaom
Over the summer, my boyfriend and I traveled to the Caribbeans for two weeks. After visiting Nassau and Exuma Island, we then traveled to Jamaica for a week. We stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay, an All-Inclusive Resort minutes away from the beach and Ocho Rio (tourist attraction city). After spending a ton on food in Bahamas, we were looking forward to the All-Inclusive experience. Unfortunately, food wasn’t the greatest but we tried some amazing local restaurants. We also went site seeing at the Konoko Falls and Park, Bamboo Rafting at the Rio Grande and shopped at the local craft markets. For more, check out the Travel Vlog below.
Things to do:
Dunn’s River Fall
Konoko Falls and Park
Bob Marley Museum
Rose Hall Montego Bay
Rio Grande Bamboo Rafting
Blue Hole Mineral Spring
P.S. Most Taxi drivers offer a full day tour to any of the above destinations.
This past summer, my boyfriend and I went on a two week getaway to the Caribbeans and our first stop was Nassau, Bahamas. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and had the best times of our lives. The resort was beautiful, service and hospitality from the staffs were great and food was amazing. We also visited the Exuma Island and went swimming with the pigs, nurse sharks and fed Iguanas. It’s truly a paradise in Bahamas and I’ve never seen the such a crystal clear water!
Do not hop in a taxi without negotiating fare. (We got gipped our first day and learned our lesson of course).
Always have some cash on you when venturing out. Not all places take credit cards.
Bahamas is pretty pricey so stock up on water, drinks and snacks. You can order from Amazon and have it sent to your hotel or find a local mart.

I’ve always thought two piece bikinis were fun and sexy but this summer I am loving the one-piece swimwear. I wanted a one-piece for my Caribbean trip and found the perfect suit that’s flattering to the body and comfortable! It covers and smooths the stomach nicely but still shows some skin. The cut outs are perfectly designed so it shapes the body nicely as well. But if you take this suit in the ocean water the trims will turn light yellow. I recommend getting a different color if you plan to swim in the ocean. It comes in six colors and I love the design so much I’m plan to get it in another color.
This Aviation project is one of my most favorite designs that I’ve done during my time at Corgan in 2014. I am truly honored to have worked on an exciting project with some talented designers. Our team placed Second in the overall competition and won several design awards.
